About the event
Grace Heritage Center was built in 1881 as an Episcopal Church by 25 local families. The original location was across the street and a block south. In 1955 it was moved down University Ave to the site of the current Grace Episcopal Church. In 1991 it was moved to its current location through a collaborative effort of the city of Georgetown, the Episcopal diocese, and Preservation Georgetown. Extensively renovated in 1992 and 2017, this Gothic Norman Carpenter structure reminds all of us of the special and unique character of our downtown and the hardworking folks who built the town.
