About the event
Each May, Preservation Georgetown partners with the City of Georgetown to celebrate Preservation Month—highlighting the importance of protecting and investing in our community’s historic treasures.
This workshop helps property owners within the Georgetown Historic Overlay understand how to navigate City development codes, collaborate effectively with the Planning Department, and complete projects on time and in compliance.
Attendees will also learn about Preservation Georgetown’s Grant Fund Program—including how to apply for funding to support the historic maintenance of their home or business. Meet homeowners who have successfully completed preservation projects and connect with skilled vendors experienced in the craftsmanship and care that historic properties require.
