Spinning tops are one of the oldest recognized toys in the world. They were played with in ancient Rome, have been located by archeologists on every continent except Antarctica and one was even found in King Tut’s tomb! 
 
The purpose of the game is to keep the top spinning as long as possible, twirling it with your fingertips to get it started.
